Information the app uses
The app does not require an account or ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, camera, microphone, or contacts.
When you use the simulator, it saves field-book observations and training progress on your device. A field-book record may include the simulated point, reading type, a reading you enter, calculated or expected readings, instrument setup checks, a session identifier, and the observation time. The app uses these records to display saved readings, calculate training results, and remember lesson and scenario completion.
The app uses touch input for its controls. On supported Android devices, it may briefly vibrate when a simulated control reaches a physical stop.
Collection, sharing, and tracking
The current app has no account system, backend, cloud sync, advertising, analytics, or in-app purchases. CodeMicros does not receive your field book or progress through the app. The app does not sell that data, share it with third parties, or use it for cross-app tracking. Unity analytics, advertising, and crash reporting services are disabled in this version.
Your device’s operating system or app store may separately provide backups or diagnostics under its own settings and privacy terms.
Storage and deletion
Field books are stored in the app’s private device storage. The app may keep a previous copy and a temporary file while saving. Training completion is stored in local preferences. These records remain until you remove the app’s local data.
On Android, you can clear the app’s storage in device settings or uninstall it. On iOS, you can delete the app. Copies held in device or cloud backups may remain under your operating system’s backup settings and may be restored later. Because CodeMicros does not store this training data on its servers, there is no server account or field-book record to delete.
Email inquiries
If you email CodeMicros, your email address and message are delivered through email providers outside the app. We use them to respond to your inquiry. You can request deletion of that correspondence at codemicros@gmail.com, subject to any legal obligation to retain it.
Security and children
The app relies on Android and iOS app storage protections for locally saved data. It does not request access to location, camera, microphone, or contacts. CodeMicros does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the app. Contact us if you have a concern.
Changes
If the app’s data practices change, CodeMicros will update this policy, its effective date, and the relevant store privacy disclosures.
