1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Today Pin Notes and Tasks (“Today Pin,” “the app,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provided by Code Micros, handles information when you use the Android or iOS app.
2. Information you create
Today Pin lets you create tasks, notes, routines and checklists. This content can include task titles and descriptions, due dates, reminder times, recurrence choices, completion status, note text, colours, pinned items, routine items, theme choices and widget preferences.
This information is stored locally on your device. Today Pin does not transmit it to Code Micros or to an external server.
3. Data collection and sharing
Today Pin does not require an account and does not collect personal information, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, precise location, contacts, photos or financial information. The app contains no advertising or tracking SDKs and does not sell or share your data with third parties.
4. Device permissions
The app may request limited device permissions only when needed for its features:
- Notifications: to show reminders you schedule.
- Alarms and reminders on Android: to deliver time-sensitive reminders reliably.
- Start-up events on Android: to restore scheduled reminders after a device restart or app update.
- Widget access: to display selected tasks or a pinned note in Today Pin home-screen widgets.
You can manage these permissions in your device settings. Denying them may disable the related feature but does not prevent you from using the app’s core task, note and routine tools.
5. Local storage, widgets and backups
Your content is saved in the app’s private on-device storage. Widget data is shared only with Today Pin’s own widget extension or component so that the widget can show and update your selected content.
Your operating system or device provider may include app data in device backups, depending on your backup settings. Those backups are controlled by the applicable platform provider and your device settings, not by Code Micros.
6. Data retention and deletion
Your data remains on your device until you delete individual items, clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app. Because Code Micros does not receive or store your content, we cannot access, restore or delete it on your behalf.
7. Children’s privacy
Today Pin does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app does not collect personal data from any user, no child’s personal information is sent to Code Micros.
8. Security
Keeping data on the device limits exposure to online services. You are responsible for securing your device with the protections available through your operating system. No method of storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if Today Pin’s features or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
